Planning for the FIRST DATE
Well you must have heard
first impression is the last impression. It’s true especially if you are going
on a first date. Remember the famous dialogue of Will Smith in Hitch “First
kiss tells a girl everything she needs to know about the relation”. We don’t know
about the first Kiss but surely if first date is not good than you are not
getting a second chance out here. So here are some key points for you.
1. Location, Location, and
Location. I am not trying to sell you anything just telling you the importance
of place where you take your gal/guy. Don’t take him or her to a place where it’s
hard to find a single human being or where it is too crowded. Just the perfect
mix will be better. Where he/she won’t be uncomfortable.
2. Choose Fun activities for
two of you. Remember the more fun it is, more he/she will open up. So choose
some activities for two you, where both of you will be involved rather than
just sitting and watching movie for three hours. (Holding hand is fun in cinema
hall but that’s a no no on a first date.)
3. Don't Brag yourself, you don’t
have to show off. You don’t have to tell him/her how great you are. Remember
she already likes you that’s why she agrees to come on a date with you, now
only you have to do is not to mess that up.
4. Talk but mostly listen, don’t
sit down there like a dumb person talk to him/her. Talk about likes and
dislikes. Talking about hobbies is the best topic and remembers to avoid
politics, religion and your ex's all the time (not something to talk on a first
date)
5. Be who you are, just don’t
change to someone you are not, the first date might be good but not the
relation if that’s what you are looking for. So just be calm and enjoy your
time.
Now these were the basics rest is still up to you. All the best from my
side and don’t forget to tell me how your date went on.
